Rahim is currently the CIO at Special Technology Zones Authority (STZA). Prior to STZA, Rahim was the CIO & CISO Securities Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP) which is the apex financial sector regulator and was instrumental in driving the digitalization agenda and ease of doing business reforms, launched the first regulatory sandbox and worked closely with all the stakeholders of the FinTech and Startup community to build an enabling ecosystem in the country.

Rahim also worked for Standard Chartered Bank in UAE and Pakistan. He is a highly experienced International Executive with in-depth strategic experience in digitally transforming Financial Services across international markets in Middle East, Africa and Pakistan, and managed large diverse teams across several international markets. Rahim launched the first Corporate Client Onboarding system in the region, the first Shared Utility framework jointly with peers in South Africa and successfully initiated the first POC for performing KYC on a Blockchain network in UAE.

Rahim holds graduate degrees in both technology and finance and is an alumnus of Columbia Business School, New York.
