STZA delegation visited the International Defence Exhibition and Seminar IDEAS 2022 in Expo Center, Karachi. IDEAS 2022 was organized by the Defence Export Promotion Organization (DEPO) of the Ministry of Defence Production (MoDP). The visit intended to take a deep dive into the special technologies developed by the exhibitors, developing linkages, and assessing the potential of innovation led export growth for Pakistan. The STZA team held meetings with the delegates and industry leaders of global defense technology organizations, who were visiting from 45 countries, to explore future investment opportunities, technology transfer and promoting innovation in Pakistan.
IDEAS 2022 also exhibited the Pakistani defense technology organizations and startups working across the sector including aerospace, maritime technologies, advanced engineering, software, manufacturing etc. The STZA team interfaced with these organizations and startups to better comprehend their challenges and needs for growth.
